These things just happened, you know.
"We have another natural disaster movie that seems less natural than I think is real life," Jane said.
Cara shrugged. "Could be magic," she said, completely sincerely.
"She's not wrong," Jane sighed. Because it was true. Magic or whimsy were both possibilities here!
They couldn't even blame the island, given they both came from magical worlds.
"So, let's all enjoy this, hopefully, fully fictional event," Jane continued.
